I ended up falling asleep. I knew Strongbow and music trivia were a bad idea last night! But, I did finish my first book–Exit, Pursued by a Bear by E. K. Johnston. It’s YA and about a girl who gets drugged and raped at cheer camp and how her last year of school progresses as she tries to remember what happened and how to deal with it. I thoroughly enjoyed the strong girl friendships. There isn’t enough of that in the world right now.
So, onto my next book and a snack! I’m excited to get into this one.

I’ve been contemplating making a book review blog, and finally settled on a title, “book drunkard”…but like a good reader/writer/researcher, I decided to check on other use from the quote. So, thanks a lot -_-
Anyway, I enjoyed perusing your site and zeroed in on our other shared interest, Strongbow cider. I hope you’re staying safe and that your bookshelves are well-stocked. I’m off to continue a ferocious brainstorm.
