Book Drunkard

“I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for its devotee. I cannot withstand them.” L.M. Montgomery

Readathon – Hour 2

And, so starts hour two.  I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t read as fast at 5am.  I’m read about 42 pages so far.  Eek!!

I’m doing a quick mini challenge this hour and then back to reading.  Reading Through Life is hosting a challenge called Reading in Translation.  You pick a book that you’d like to read that’s been translated into English.  Here is my pick:

Never Any End to Paris by Enrique Vila-Matas. It was translated from Spanish and tells of a man in the 70s who moves to France and spends “time with writers, intellectuals, and eccentrics, and trying to make it as a creator of literature”. Sounds like something I’d love to do myself.

Back to reading!  See you in an hour or so.
