Book Drunkard

“I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for its devotee. I cannot withstand them.” L.M. Montgomery

Dewey’s Readathon – 2012

Call me a nerd, geek, freak…  but I look forward to April and October more than I do Christmas.  Why, you ask?  Dewey’s Readathon, of course!!

It’s nearly 5am here in Kelowna, BC.  My house will be quiet for a few more hours, but for the sound of my fingers turning the pages of a book – or tapping the screen of my Kobo, whichever I decide on first.  I picked four books to start with – all books I received for review.  If I get them all done, I’ll be thrilled.  If I don’t, I’ll still have had a fabulous day reading!  I’m starting with Sarai.  I started it a bit ago and want to finish it up.  Which one should I read next??

You can still sign up.  There is never any pressure to read the entire 24 hours.  There will be mini-challenges, prizes, cheerleaders – and lots of books and snacks!  Check it out HERE.  Notice who the second person was to sign up?  lol  Colour me eager…  If you are participating this year, let me know!  We can cheer each other on.
