Here are the categories for Part Six of The Four Month Challenge!  Part five is nearly over and everyone did such a great job!

Here is a quick rundown for those who might be joining in for the first time.

– You do not need a blog to sign up for the challenge.

– One book, one category.

– Finish up all the categories for a whopping 250 points and bragging rights.

– Sign up in the comment section below.  I will keep a running total on my blog for each person who signs up and comments on a special post I will create for part six.

5 POINT CHALLENGES
Read a book that the author’s name begins with A for April IN April (first or last name)

Read a book that the author’s name begins with M for May IN May (first or last name)

Read a book that the author’s name begins with J for June IN June (first name only)

Read a book that the author’s name begins wiht J for July IN July (last name only)

Read a book that beings with the S for Spring
10 POINT CHALLENGES
Read a ‘debut’ novel (an author’s first book)

Read a book where the author wrote under a pseudonym

Read a book with a male on the cover (male only, no female)

Read a book with a female on the cover (female only, no male)

Read a book with a house on the cover
15 POINT CHALLENGES
Read a book that you previously DID NOT finish

Read a book with a flower on the cover OR in the title

Read a book with a reference to a fairy tale (Cinderella theme, Alice in Wonderland theme, etc)

Read a book that the author was born during the Spring season

Read a book that has won awards
20 POINT CHALLENGES
Read something that is next in a series

Read a book that the title begins with either your first or last initial

Read a book where the main character is an author

Read a book having to do with ghosts, reincarnation, etc.

Read a book with one of the Four Elements in the title – Fire, Water, Wind, Earth

  3. Yep, I’m in. The only one that I might have real trouble with is the one about reading a book I didn’t finish. With the exception of one that I can’t even remember the title of, I’ve never (to my memory) not finished a book. However, there were a lot in high school/college that I skimmed in order to just manage paper writing or tests and didn’t read thoroughly, so I might use that for this category as long as our hostess is agreeable!
