Book Drunkard

“I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for its devotee. I cannot withstand them.” L.M. Montgomery

Mailbox Monday

Virginie Says…

Another week, another lovely load of books.  The loads should become smaller soon as I’m stalled on BookMooch so won’t be getting as many from there as I have been lately.

From Edify Media:  Elliot contacted me about reviewing The Silent Gift by Michael Landon Jr. and Cindy Kelley.  I was, of course, interested – the book sounds really amazing.  I also got to do an interview with MLj which will be posted at the same time I post my review.

From Carnevale Films:  Gaby kindly offered a copy of The Harlot’s Progress: Yorkshire Molly by Peter Mottley for review.  She also sent along a print of one of the paintings the book(s) is inspired by.

From Unbridled Books:  In Hovering Flight by Joyce Hinnefeld.  I don’t remember requesting this book, but it sounds really interesting.  I usually keep all my review request emails, but for some reason, I can’t find anything on this book in my inbox!  Still, I was thrilled to see it in my mailbox.  🙂

From BookMooch:  More VC Andrews books!  This time I received Into the Garden from The Wildflowers series, Cinnamon and Ice from the Shooting Stars series and Brooke and Raven from the Orphans series.
