Book Drunkard

“I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for its devotee. I cannot withstand them.” L.M. Montgomery

The book fairy was exceptionally kind to me this week.  I got five lovely books to read and review.  Sometimes quality is better than quantity!

  1. Ooh, I would LOVE to read the Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte since she is one of my favorite authors. The book fairy was kind to you indeed!!

  2. I loved St Thomas’s Eve by Plaidy! It really put Thomas More into a fabulous light, as a person, father, family figure. Much different from the new Wolf Hall by Mantel, I hear.
And I envy your author acquisitions! I’ve had the Delors book on my shelf for so long but I’m worried about stepping out of my comfort zone of Tudor England.

  3. PS Check out my mailbox, it is posted at The Burton Review.
    Have a great day!

  4. I hope you enjoy Mistress of the Revolution! I can’t wait to get hold of Delors next book!
