Book Drunkard

“I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for its devotee. I cannot withstand them.” L.M. Montgomery

T4MC – Week #17

Virginie Says…

The Queens MistakeA week and a half left.  Four months sure flies by when you’re having fun and reading good books.  Last week, I finished a book with a  number in the title for 5 points – The Sixth Wife by Suzannah Dunn.  The review is here if you’re interested.  I also finished Anne Boleyn by Margaret Heys for 10 points.  I started my last book of this challenge, The Queen’s Mistake by Diane Haeger.  I don’t think I’ll finish this book by the end of the month, but I’ll be close enough to consider this challenge complete and a success!

  1. I finished a book about royalty – Nefertiti for another 10 points, total = 200.

I might finish Lamb, about Jesus’s best friend, and Huck Finn, a classic is a distinct possibility.

  2. I think you missed my comment on last weeks post – so i will post it again – I finished Triumph of Deborah as Christian fiction – so with 20 more points that brings me to 240. I just started Cleopatra’s Daughter – and I think I should be able to finish it in time!

  3. You missed my comment from the last week I guess-

ok I did read a book made into a movie – Twilight.
A historical fiction – footsteps in the dark by Georgette Heyer
    and A hardcover book – Cleopatra’s Daughter

That gives me 135 points… i am so sure that this is how much i can do

    • Gosh, sorry! That’s two people I forgot to update. I must have been sleeping all last week – or reading! lol I’ll update now 🙂

  4. I just wanted to shout out that I finished this challenge when I finished reading Cleopatra’s Daughter by Michelle Moran (about an hour ago!) Loved it! So with the 10 points for a hardcover book that brings me to 250! Whew! Now onto some more review reading before November!
