Book Drunkard

“I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for its devotee. I cannot withstand them.” L.M. Montgomery

French Revolution Mini-Challenge

Virginie Says…

I’m starting to get the hang of challenges and when I saw this one, I knew I was going to participate.

The French Revolution Mini-Challenge is hosted by Becky at Mini Challenges Hosted by Becky.  You can check out the original post there.

Basically, you read or watch two (2) books or movies about The French Revolution.  This is right up my alley!  I adore all things French.  I’m going to read one book and watch one movie.

1.  Read Mistress of the Revolution by Catherine Delors

2.  Watch Marie Antoinette (either the 1938 or 2006 version)

  1. I haven’t decided what I am going to read for this one yet but I thought it would be good since I really haven’t read anything set during the French Revoultion.

  2. The French Revolution is one of my favourite eras in history. Actually, I just love French history! If you’d like any suggestions for books, just let me know!

  3. Best of luck on your challenge…these things are so much fun!

  4. I really enjoyed the Catherine Delors book when I read it. I am very much looking forward to her next book!
