Book Drunkard

“I am simply a 'book drunkard.' Books have the same irresistible temptation for me that liquor has for its devotee. I cannot withstand them.” L.M. Montgomery

Teaser Tuesday

Virginie Says…

Today’s teaser comes from one of my current reads – The Thistle and the Rose by Jean Plaidy.  Loving it so far.

“Fear showed itself briefly in Margaret’s eyes.  Now that the time of departure was coming near she did not want to go.  It was pleasant being a queen in her father’s Court where she had spent her childhood, teasing Henry, flaunting her new importance before little Mary; but to go away to a foreign land was a different matter.”  The Thistle and the Rose by Jean Plaidy page 16

PS..there is still time to enter my book giveaway.  Check it out HERE.

This sounds like a great book. Wanted to let you know I have finished Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen. I picked this book for the cover which is 5 points. My review is at my place, Just Books. Have a great day!
