First off, a huge round of applause to all the ladies who are still going strong with the challenge.  And thanks!  If it weren’t for all of you who are participating, I wouldn’t be motivated at all.

Last week, I finished the Joan Crawford book for 10 points and started Northanger Abbey.

  4. I finished The Heretic Queen today – my review will be up tomorrow. That is 15 more points for a book my an author born in the summer (August). I think that brings my total to 75!

  5. I finally had the chance to finish my outside reading. There really haven’t been that many nice days here. But I get 20 more points for reading outside, Rage by Jerry Langton. My total is now 95!

  6. Wow, I am having a great week. Today I read The Pit and the Pendulum by Edgar Allan Poe for the Read a Book from the 1001 Books to read before you die list – 20 more points – for a total of 115! I’m finally making some progress.

  7. im going to change my chick lit and call it a book with a summer word in the title so it gets more points LOL it was “hot property” by Zoe Barnes that should give me another 15 points.
