  1. I will definately try this one, it sounds fun.

  2. There is an award waiting for you over at my blog http://themaidenscourt.blogspot.com/ 😉

  3. I wanted to let you know that I passed on an award to you over at my blog. http://themaidenscourt.blogspot.com/. If I wrote this message already just ignore this one, I feel like I did this already but I’m not sure, haha.

  4. I think I’m going to try this one! 🙂 It is definitely a motivator! Thanks for doing this!

  5. Please be patient with my blog. I am new to all of this!

  6. Sorry, I just realized I want to be notified by email!

  7. OK so is this where you join? If so, then I’ll join.

I need to get off this timesuck computer too!

I’ll put up a post on my blog about this contest to try and generate interest as well..
if there is a different link other than this post then let me know, I have checked to be notified of new comments here.
    Thanks

  8. More questions:

How is the winner chosen? Random, or by who has the most points?

Can we only do one item once to count?

For example, what if I read 15 Jean Plaidys?

Can the winner pick the Jean Plaidy book to be won?

    😉

  9. Hi Marie and thanks for joining in! The winner will be chosen at random. (names in a hat and one of my daughters will choose a name). Each item only counts once. The winner won’t be able to pick the Jean Plaidy book – for two reasons. One is that it’s hard in Canada to get the books because they aren’t in reissue yet (so sad). Second, I have an extra copy of one of her books. It’s not brand new, but it’s in great condition. I also have a copy of Memoirs of a Geisha that I’d let the winner pick instead if they wanted.

  10. Allrighty then 🙂
I am about to copy and paste this into my blog..
    🙂

  11. I want to try this one. Two maybe I can widdle down some of my TBR books too.

    • I’m so excited that people are deciding to join in! I’ll be much more fun and more motivation if I’m not doing it alone 🙂

  12. this sounds like a fun one to try now to pick the books from the pile

  13. I’m in.. this sounds interesting and fun..

Here is my link to the post about the challenge

  14. Hello, this sounds like a fun challenge. zI have a question. Can a book be used in more than one category. For instance could the book Three by Ted Dekker be used for the book with a number in the title, a book with a one word title, and a book considered Christian Fiction? Or should all requirements in each category be meet by a different book?

  15. I’m thinking of doing this one. This would really be my first challenge this year.

  16. I’ll do this one. I like the variety of genres we can choose from.

  17. This sounds like fun and I have finished so many of my challenges.

  18. Hi,

I’m new to reading challenges, but I’m game. This sounds like fun!

  19. I’m in on this one. Posting this to my blog!
    Thanks!

BTW how do we report our progress?

    • I’ll be posting my progress weekly in a post like this . You can either share your progress in the comment section or leave a link to your ‘progress page’. Either/or!

      V.

Let me know if it’s right and post your new progress there.

  25. Hi, I saw this on Sherrie’s blog and I thought I’d join in. I don’t imagine I’ll be able to get all the categories read, since some are not ones I have in my TBR. Also, I’ve read every Maeve Binchy book she’s written already.
